The Fiat 8V or 'Otto vu' in Italian was so named to avoid any confusion or copyright issues with the well know Ford V8. The two liter engine was the only V8 produced by Fiat. From 1953 to 1954 the famous Italian Automotive design house Ghia produced eight 'Supersonic' cars with jet age bodywork. The rarity of these automobiles and their stunning design makes them highly desirable, fetching over a million dollars at auction.
